Myler HBT Shank with Sweet Iron Correctional Ported Barrel has the MB 47PB mouthpiece. This Level 2-3 Myler western bit has 5″ HBT shanks with two rings. The entire HBT shank moves independently of the mouthpiece. The stainless steel correctional bit has a polished sweet iron ported barrel and copper inlay that promotes salivation. Level Two Myler Bits are for horses who have had training and mastered basic skills like bending, lead changes, side passes, and collection or relaxed head position. Level Two Bits use more bar pressure than Level One Bits and may have features that apply curb, palate and/or poll pressures. Level Three Myler Bits are for horses considered broke who willingly obey commands, relax at the poll and respond well to seat, hand and leg cues. Level Three Bits feature the curved mouthpiece but generally apply most pressure to the bars and may incorporate features that apply curb, palate and/or poll pressures as well.
