Classic Equine Short Shank Correction Bit in stainless steel is a mild shank action bit with correction ported mouth. The short shank & swept back design means contact with the horse’s mouth comes slowly,with soft pressure. The main point of contact is the corners of the mouth plus it adds pressure to the tongue for more feel. The mouthpiece is inlaid with copper strips to stimulate saliva & keep mouth soft.

The Short Shank Correction Bit from Classic Equine makes a nice transition from the O ring snaffle to the short shank bit. It may be used with a training fork or martingale to encourage collection and poll control. The bit has a 2.5″ purchase and 3.5″ shank. This ratio plus the swept back design makes it a mild cheek correction bit.
