The solid contoured mouthpiece has a low port that allows room for the tongue with little or no pressure on the palate. The sliding cheeks add more leverage and increases communication for the dressage horse and rider. The slight gag action discourages the horse from falling behind the vertical while the curb action encourages a proper frame.
